Viktor Rydberg Gymnasium is widely regarded as Sweden’s best high school. Their school council were in need of a web prescence to match their reputation.
In 2009 the student council of the Djursholm branch of VRG came to me with the ambition of launching a professional and inspiring website. Likeminded organisations throughout the country have little in the way of clean and usable websites, so president Douglas von Euler was determined take advantage and create the nation’s top student council website.
The result is a structured and strict grid-based layout, with a blue colour scheme that reinforces the organisation’s values of trust, democracy and influence. A simple yet effective form on every page gives students the chance to send in questions and propositions, making ever important involvement and interaction as simple as possible.
