Systemic and Family Constellations

I facilitate Systemic and Family Constellations, both online and in-person.

Constellations are a powerful and subtle way of bringing to light hidden dynamics that affect systems, organizations, and families (and the world at large). Constellations provide an elegant way to see what needs to be seen in a system, and a path to resolve what is ready to be resolved.

How Constellations Work

A client will typically have an issue they are experiencing in their lives, often with a repetitive pattern. This could be anything ranging from a emotional challenge, a business or money difficulty, to physical symptoms or illness. After a brief interview with the facilitator, we meet with a group of volunteers, who will observe the constellation and represent roles in the system that is being explored.

As we begin the constellation, the representatives do not know who or what they are representing. They don’t know any details of the issue being explored either. When the constellation begins, everything simply “comes” to them in the form of sensations, emotions, even thoughts and memories. My facilitation of constellation is double-blind, meaning that no one, including myself, knows who is representing who in the beginning of the constellation.

Over a couple of hours, systemic dynamics come to the surface that are manifestations of denied or excluded experience. Slowly but surely, the constellation provides a space for the system to acknowledge what is, and to include what has been excluded for decades.

While constellations are not a magic bullet, they provide ways to address systemic effects that are beyond the reach of many other approaches and modalities. Clients (as well as observers and representatives) often describe how life will change spontaneously and without effort after a constellation.

Take Part in a Constellation

If you would like to take part in an online constellation as a representative or an observer, click here. It’s free of charge. There’s no obligation to take attend, you’ll simply be sent invitations to future constellations as they are scheduled. During the constellation you can volunteer to represent a role or you can just observe. No previous experience or skills are necessary.
